Happy last week of the hexter, Batman!
This is the last week of the hexter, and we are looking forward to finishing strong! This has been a great hexter and semester. Congratulations to the Discovery Opportunity Center students for completing the first round of the program! This week is finals week, so students please get some rest and be prepared to knock out your finals.
On Tuesday, December 17th, we have Hexter 4 Orientation, and on Friday, we look forward to our Holiday/Christmas Party!
Remember- on Friday, we will be clapping out our December graduates! Let's make this week special Phoenix!

Student council took a trip to the special education students at Widefield High School to share some holiday spirit!
Discovery's NATIONAL Drone Team!
BIG NEWS!
Discovery's drone team, made up of four students, has been invited to compete in the Western National Championship in San Jose, California! Mikah, Janie, Cloey, and Darian are some of the best in our region! These students are a perfect team and exemplar of the students who make our school a great place to be involved with!
Phoenix Day - Denver Zoo
For Phoenix Day this hexter, Mrs. Thomas took us all to the Denver Zoo! It was such a fun day of exploring and adventuring through various animal exhibits. What a day!
ASL Night School Students
Students from Discovery, Widefield, and Mesa Ridge unite in ASL night school with Mrs. Myers! In this video, the students demonstrate the skills they have learned and why they chose to take a night school class at Discovery. Work Based Learning Credit
Students who are employed have the opportunity to earn Work Based Learning Credit. A Work Based Learning Packet must be completed and returned to Ms. Shea by December 10th. Please click the link below for a digital packet. It has links (blue lettering) to all the necessary paperwork/signatures and videos with instructions on how to sign digital documents. If you need a physical copy or have any questions, please see Ms. Shea.
Cap & Gown Orders for Seniors!
