Thank You TJS Parents as Partners!
Thank you to the many parents/guardians who attended parent/teacher conferences this week. It was so wonderful to see so many of you in the building. Your partnership in your child's education is paramount. Your support and involvement play a vital role in your child's growth and success at TJS. Together, we can create a strong foundation for their learning journey and help them reach their full potential. We appreciate your commitment and look forward to working closely with you throughout the year.
Curriculum Open House...Thank You!
Madison families thank you for attending the curriculum open house that was offered at each of the libraries during parent teacher conferences! In case you missed our open house attached is a list of our literacy programs and videos that provide an overview and a sample of how the lesson is taught. If you have any questions please reach out at any time!
Congratulations...October Jaguars of the Month!
As a school learning community, we are recognizing TJS jaguars who consistently use their "PAWS" at school - Practice kindness, Act safe and responsible, Work hard, and Show respect. Nominations are submitted throughout the entire month and at the end of the month, one jaguar from each grade level is selected and recognized. This week, Ms. Garcia announced the October Jaguars of the Month!
Congratulations to...
- Kindergartener - Joey DiCicco
- First Grader - Sloane Norcia
- Second Grader - Ava Hazelton
- Third Grader - Joseph Lapovsky
- Fourth Grader - Max Cividini
- Fifth Grader - Reagan Kibbe
We are hopeful that as a community, students will be eager to serve as positive role models for their peers to always be upstanding members of our school.
November Monthly Activity Calendar
Click the link below to access and print the NOVEMBER calendar. As a family try to do as many of the boxes as you can during the entire month of November! This month's activity calendar was created by Mrs. Pelkey and Mrs. Lemon...enjoy!
Fourth Grade Spotlight
The fourth graders at TJS participated in a combined social studies/math lesson. Students learned about the electoral process. They then, with the help of their running mate, had to strategize and calculate how to obtain 270 electoral votes while visiting the fewest states possible.
