OGMS Weekly Update

Hello Families,

Our team holds a high priority on student safety and continuously look to improve our practices and make sure students understand expectations. Some of the steps we take are regular debriefs of our emergency drills, preparing students ahead of time with expectations of drills, have visitors sign in and clear through Raptor and ensure students are safely picked up after signing out from school.

Please see below for some reminders and updates regarding our practices.

• Next week we will spend time reviewing our Lockdown procedures with students in preparation for our drill later in the week.
• In regards to student pick up, we value having our students in class and engaged with learning. Thus, we will not call students down for pick up until the adult signing them out has arrived in the office.
• For safety reasons, we do no allow for food delivery service people to enter our building. Parent/Guardians can drop off food for lunch in the Front Office. We will then call the student down to pick it up at the beginning of lunch. Food delivered later in the afternoon will be held onto until the end of the school day to ensure there is no disruption to class time.

I hope you can understand our need for these expectations and practices as we work to keep our 430 students safe.

It is time to re enroll for SUN school Spring Term!

Below is the updated schedule and class sign up. There is no need to submit an application again but please do select classes again.

Term will run from April 1st-May 23rd M-TH 3:45-5:30

For more information, head to our website, or go straight to the sale (just choose "Ockley Green Supporters" at check out). You can order now through May 3rd, for pick up on May 9th and 10th.
