Principals Message
This whakatauaki "Whāia te iti kahurangi, ki te tuohu koe, me he maunga teitei" translates to "Seek the treasure that you value most dearly; if you bow your head, let it be to a lofty mountain." This saying encourages individuals to pursue their deepest desires and aspirations, while maintaining dignity in the face of challenges.
In this newsletter I would like to formally invite all whānau to Te Kura o Te Pāroa in week 9 to come and join our whānau in celebrating all of the achievements and progress that all of our tamariki have been working diligently towards achieving throughout the year.
Together, we honor their success!

Geo Net Week.
This week, our senior students have benefitted from an invaluable experience, engaging with esteemed scientists from across New Zealand who specialize in volcanology, tsunami research, evacuation protocols, and natural hazards. Through sessions with Matua Pouroto Ngaropo, students gained insight into the local significance of Matata Beach, complemented by a visit to the buried village in Rotorua, which provided a profound understanding of the Tarawera eruption. We aspire to maintain and expand this enriching partnership with the organization for many years to come.
