4th Grade @ ROE

4th grade will visit the Perot Museum on 12/4. We will send home more information and permission forms next month. If you would like to chaperone, please complete the Volunteer Form soon. This can take several weeks to process. The field trip will cost $3 per student. Please pay online using the School Cash link below.

October 28- Nov. 1: Red Ribbon Week

October 31: Storybook Character Dress-Up Day (school dress code: no hats, hoodies, masks, weapons, etc.)

November 8: Early Release

November 15: No School- Staff Development

November 25-29: Thanksgiving Break

December 4: Field Trip (4th Grade)

ELAR- We are reviewing all things information text including summarizing, text features, text evidence, making inferences and author's purpose. CBA on Wednesday 10/30/24

Math- We will represent multi-step problems involving the four operations with whole numbers using strip diagrams and equations with a letter standing for the unknown quantity (4.5A) CBA on Thursday 10/31/24

Science- We will demonstrate and describe how electrical energy travels in a closed path that can produce light and thermal energy. (4.8C) CBA on Tuesday 10/29/24

Social Studies- We will identify Texas' role in the Mexican War of Independence and the war's impact on the development of Texas (4.2D)
