Thinking About an Internship?
Work with and for our LGBT*Q+ community next semester.
Stonewall is currently taking applications for 2020 Spring Semester Interns! We offer fairly flexible hours, a lot of opportunities for creativity and doing work that matters, and plenty of different ways to participate. Our established internship positions right now are:
- Events Assistant
- PR Internships (one focused on writing and strategy, another focused on visual and graphic design)
- Grant Writing
- Health Education
- Research & Advocacy
- Administrative Assistance
- Community Outreach
...But we're always open to new ideas and programs, if there's something else you'd like to do with us.

When you apply, you'll be taken to a form you may recognize (yes, it's the same link to the form you fill out to enter our new volunteer system. If you've already done that, just choose 'intern' when it asks whether you want to intern or volunteer. If you haven't done that yet, select both the 'volunteer' and 'intern' box, and get all your chores knocked out at once.)
The form will ask you to upload a resume and cover letter. The cover letter should include which internship position(s) you're applying to, why you want to work with Stonewall, and what skills, background, experience, etc. make you a good fit for the position.
