Please Share Your Feedback in our Community Survey
The Sheboygan Area School District is proposing a plan to rebuild Urban and Farnsworth Middle Schools. The buildings are approaching 100 years old, and a facilities study identified significant challenges at both schools.
π Watch your mailbox for a survey with more information about the middle school projects and an opportunity to share your feedback.
Sheboygan Area School District is working with School Perceptions, an independent education research firm to administer the survey. School Perceptions will also be emailing the survey to parents and guardians. If you have two adults in your household, one person can take the paper survey and one can take the online survey. All survey responses are confidential. Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts with us!

π¦ Urban Traffic Study Findings Presentation - Monday, May 6
During the planning phase, the Sheboygan Area School District took a proactive approach to initiate a traffic study that assessed the potential impact of increased traffic that may arise due to the proposed rebuilding of Urban Middle School on Najacht and Mill Roads. The study evaluated the impact of additional traffic on the roads and intersections in the surrounding area.
The traffic impact study was prepared by professional engineers certified by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation from Traffic Analysis & Design, Inc (TADI), an independent firm in Cedarburg, WI.
The findings of this study will be shared with the community on Monday, May 6, at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Urban Middle School. Representatives from Traffic Analysis & Design, Inc. (TADI) will present the traffic data and findings. Following the presentation, attendees can submit questions to be answered that evening. Representatives from Bray Architects and Sheboygan Area School District will also be present.
After the public meeting, the report and findings will be posted on the Sheboygan Area School District website at www.sheboygan.k12.wi.us/referendum, for anyone unable to attend the meeting.
π District Fourth-Graders Visit Heritage School
Fourth-grade students from across the SASD stepped back in time with a visit to Heritage School where they experienced a classroom from 1876! Heritage School serves as a living history museum and is part of the fourth-grade curriculum. Students are taught reading, writing, arithmetic, and penmanship in an authentically restored and appointed two-room schoolhouse.
