Church Family Meeting Set for November 3

Church Family Meeting Set for Sunday After Worship

The Servant Leadership Council will host a Church Family Meeting on Sunday to announce our church Vision for 2025. Please plan to attend this important meeting that will start immediately following the worship service.

In addition, the proposed 2025 Servant Leadership Council and plans for Christmas will be announced. Attendees have the opportunity to ask questions and provide input during the meeting.

The church office will be closed the week of November 4-8. Please email vrumc@vrumc.org for assistance, or call Laurie Kunke for any immediate needs.

Sign Up to Serve: Fall Food Drive Set for Sunday, November 17

We’re moving our annual Fall Food Drive to a Sunday afternoon at Market Street in Coppell. Sign up to serve on Sunday, November 17, to greet customers, hand out flyers, and accept food and cash donations. The food drive will run from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Children are welcome, but only adults and youth need to sign up. Consider inviting a friend to serve with you.

The Fall Food Drive will be held on Sunday, November 17, at Market Street in Coppell.

Children’s Ministry in Need of Adult Volunteers on Sunday Mornings

Our Children’s Ministry is in need of volunteers to help ensure that we are Ministry Safe with two adults each Sunday morning.

Children’s Ministry Coordinator Christina Dixon prepares a monthly SignUp Genius to schedule volunteers. Please consider signing up for just one Sunday a month to play with and care for our youngest blessings in the nursery.

“All help is so greatly appreciated,” said Christina. “The speaker in the Nursery is working great, so if you sign up to help with the little bitties, you won’t miss the service or the wonderful music.”

All adult volunteers must be Ministry Safe, which means that a background check will be conducted and a short online training needs to be completed. Contact Business Administrator Bill Burden to receive Ministry Safe instructions and paperwork.
