It is that time of year that Scott Wolves picks the Crystal Apple Award Nominee. This year the process will return to how it was done pre-pandemic and you will choose one teacher who we will nominate. At this time we are asking for general nominations. The details are below. If you would like to nominate a teacher, please complete the linked form below.

Purpose: To honor and recognize School District 11 classroom teachers who demonstrate excellence in education by meeting the needs of their students.

Awards: One Crystal Apple Teacher Award will be designated for each of the five District 11 school areas. In addition, one Crystal Apple Teacher Award will be presented to a teacher in any areas at the judges' discretion.

Eligibility: A teacher must be certified, licensed, currently teach at a District 11 school, and have completed a minimum of two consecutive years in the district prior to the nomination. Past Crystal Apple Teacher Awards recipients are not eligible. Scott Crystal Apple past award winners are Mark Peterson, Susan Strizich, Alan Combs, and Caron Crowe.

Our collection of unclaimed items has continued to grow. Please make a point of checking our lost and found items. At the end of each month, they are donated to a local charity, but we would much rather see them go home to you.
