PBMS Vision
PBMS strives to be a place where students want to come to school, parents want to send their children and staff want to come to work.
Message from the Principal
Semester 2 Grades: The first grading period for second semester ends on Thursday, February 13. Be sure to check PowerSchool with your child to monitor progress. The heading is P3. FOPBSS FUNdraising Events: Over the next few months, FOPBSS is hosting great events for families and one for just adults. This is a great opportunity for you to have fun, meet other middle & high school families and raise money for our schools. More information can be found below and on the FOPBSS website. Here is the line up so far:
- Missoula Children's Theatre presents The Wizard of Oz: Come see students from the cluster schools perform on Saturday, February 1 in the PBMS Auditorium. Showtimes - 1:00 & 3:00pm. Tickets are $10 adult, $5 student/child per show. Buy tickets HERE.
- Schoolyard Dash 5K and 1K Fun Run: Sunday, February 2nd at 8:30 am
Safety:
- Morning Drop-Off: Just a reminder to be slow and safe in the parking lot.
- Vaping: Please have a conversation with your child about the dangers of vaping. Vapes are marketed at teens with candy-like flavors and nicotine is SO addictive. Our counseling team can connect your child with intervention or cessation programs. For more information, contact our Wellness Center Coordinator, Andrea Graves at agraves@sandi.net.
Middle School Athletics Spring Registration: Registration for Spring Sports starts now! The sports are Flag Football, Cheer & Wrestling. Tryouts start the week of February 24. Practices are twice a week at the middle school (except wrestling who will practice at MBHS). The season runs Saturdays from March 15 - May 10 (April 26 is the end of the regular season. Counseling Corner
Semester 2- Fresh Start!
As we begin Semester 2, we want to assure students and parents that PBMS offers many resources to help our students be successful! We offer tutoring before school and after school daily, lunch tutoring (with certain teachers) and weekly workshops to help motivate and support students (See Thriving Thursday post below!)
If you are concerned about your childβs academic progress, feel free to reach out to Mrs. Priest (last names A-K) or Ms. Rice (last names L-Z) We will work with you and your child to create a support plan to help them be successful S2.

8th Grade MBHS Fieldtrip
All 8th grade students are invited to attend the annual 8th grade fieldtrip to tour Mission Bay High School on February 11th. This is an excellent opportunity for our students to see βlife at Mission Bayβ and all it has to offer! Students will take a school bus and PBMS teachers will chaperone. Permission slips were sent home this week.
Thriving Thursdays: New Self-Care Series
