October Book Fair!
We are so excited to share that we are hosting our first October Scholastic BookFair!
There is a lot of information to share about this fair so here we go!
Our Fall Scholastic BookFair will run from
Tuesday, October 17th – Friday October 20th in the Media Center.
Families can send in money with their child (labeled with their name) in a small envelope or
Ziplock bag any time during the week of BookFair so they can come down to shop in the library. Every class will view the Bookfair during their Media activity day as well. We love using Scholastic’s newest feature which is the E-wallet! You can set up an E-wallet for your child using a credit/debit card and add any amount of money you wish to give your child to shop with. You can even share your child’s E-wallet with other family members if you’d like! Simply visit https://www.scholastic.com/bf/gemini to set up your e-Wallet!
- - FAMILY NIGHT TRUNK or TREAT - -
Something new and exciting this year for our Family Night is our first Trunk or Treat Event!
Our teachers and staff will line their cars up and set up their trunks in the bus loop. Families will park across from school and walk in through the bus loop entrance beginning at 5pm until 7pm. Once you have walked through the bus loop and collected candy, snacks, and other goodies, there will be one gate open to walk into school and head into the Media Center for our Family Night. Students can enter their name for several drawings while at the BookFair and shop for some great delas on books! Students can dress up for Trunk or Treat if they would like, or not! We hope to see you either way!
(Please ensure that costumes are school appropriate. No Masks and No Props, Please!)
DONATIONS! Please Help If You Can!
We would greatly appreciate any type of donations to help our teachers and staff hand out treats during our family night! If you can donate candy (nut free), pencils, small toys, etc. just send them into school with your child! Teachers will collect and save all donations for our Trunk or Treat event!
See You There!

PTO News
Gemini Families,
Thank you all for your support of our Parent Social Event last Friday. We had a record turnout and a fun night was had by all. We were able to raise $6,961 which will fully fund our Teacher Reimbursement Program and also help fund the interventional reading program utilized by our instructional reading teachers. Thank you to all of our room parents and Melinda Cobb and Teresa Whitehead for their assistance in gathering and putting together our fantastic raffle baskets, and a very special thank you to the committee members and to Kristen Juckiewicz, the co-chair of the event.
Thank you!
