Arizona's Academic Standards Assessment Info
Dear West Wing Parents,
This week is the last stretch of state testing! Our students have done an incredible job and we are proud of their hard work! This week students in grades 3-8 will take math part 1 and 2. Please ensure that your child has a good night of rest and eats breakfast each morning or that they visit the cafeteria for their breakfast. Breakfast begins at 8:15 and ends at 8:40.
Please encourage your child to do their best to work out the math problems using their scratch paper and take their time on their assessments. They will get challenging problems but they are prepared! Reminding them to take their time and break the problem down to fully understand what they're being asked to solve is positive and reassuring! Our kids are so smart and hard-working! We got this!
If you know that your child will be absent on a day of their scheduled test we ask that you alert their teacher right away so that we can plan accordingly for a make-up session.
Please do not schedule any early pick-ups when your child is testing. It is best to keep them home if there is an unavoidable appointment. If they are absent we will schedule a make-up session.
Please refer to the testing calendar below for specific grade-level dates.
Thank you for your support of your child's academic growth this year!

We are also grateful for all of the families that donated to the baskets, created the baskets, and for everyone that attended the event! We are so very thankful for all of the support!
Thank you!
