Coppell Choir Family,

We are SO proud of our singers! Many of our singers participated in the first round of the All-State audition process: District. Our singers performed so amazingly well. Coppell High School has the most singers who advanced in this process by 50% in the Region 31, a total of 66 singers!! We are so thankful for the work of each amazing singer. Everyone who participated learned so much from this process. We are looking forward to the next round of auditions; Region. Please see below to celebrate our singers that will be moving on to round 2.

HOMECOMING WEEK:

There is a lot happening this week; Homecoming parade this Wednesday and National Anthem at the home football game on Friday. Be sure to check ALL details below.

We will be recognizing ALL SENIORS at our Fall concert. Please be sure to complete this google form by 9/27/24. Your pictures won't be included in the slideshow if you miss the deadline.

Please complete the registration below if you want to audition for 9/10 Honor Choir. This audition is ONLY for Freshmen and Sophomores. Singers that did not advance to Region Audition (Round 2) may audition for 9/10 audition as well. Please complete the google AFTER the district auditions have been completed. If you are NOT auditioning for District, you can complete the form now.

Details:

• 5:30 PM - Drop off at Cottonwood Creek Elementary

• 5:30 - 6PM - Meet Coppell Choir at the parade float staging area (no later than 5:30PM - You will NOT be able to participate, if you arrive AFTER 6PM)

• 6:30 PM - Parade begins
• 7:30 PM - Parade ends / Pick up

SRF Monthly Quizzes

You will take a monthly SRF quiz at the end of every month. This will be a Performance Tasks

Grade. You only get 2 tries so be sure that your wifi connection is good and your audio sound is

on. You have the entire month to take the quiz. Every month’s quiz will be due on the LAST

FRIDAY of the month at 10PM. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

SRF Practice Log

Each singer is expected to practice sight reading on SRF for 10 minutes per week (2 minutes

each day of the week) and 40 minutes per month. This will be a completion grade. SRF will

keep track of all your practice log data. We will give one Performance Tasks monthly SRF

Practice Log each month. Please be sure to practice SRF weekly. Each week will start on SUNDAY and end on SATURDAY.
