DISCOVERY GARDEN
A big thank you to Mr. Maxwell and his new co-chair Mrs. Mullins! Because of their hard work, the Discovery Garden is up and running and it's better than ever.
Thanks to the generous donation from the Wise family, we now have a second tower garden. Different grade levels will care for this garden and celebrate with "salad party" days... from seed to plate in about 5 weeks! They will also experiment with a winter garden crop of kale.
The fall crop of lettuce will also be donated to our school cafeteria, where our children will have a new "salad bar" option! It is a great way to eat healthily since kids are more likely to eat what they grow with their very own hands.
If you would like more information about the Discovery Garden, please contact Mr. Maxwell, Mrs. Mullins, or PTO Chair, Martha Willis.
STUDENT DIRECTORY
Would you like to be included in the student directory? If you were listed in the directory last year and your information was correct... do nothing! If you are new to Montgomery Elementary, or if your student was not listed in the directory last year, please fill out this form by September 9, 2016. All questions should be directed to Katherine Rapp or Kathy Mercurio.
KROGER REWARDS
The Kroger Rewards program is a hassle-free way to give back to your school. It takes five minutes of your time to link your Kroger Rewards number with Montgomery Elementary PTO. There is no obligation to you. Kroger does not share personal information or shopping habits with us. With only 49 families enrolled (less than 25% of our population), the PTO raised $800 over the summer! Imagine if we reached 100 families?? 200 families? It's simple. All questions should be directed to Caroline Tyler.
(1) Go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com
(2) SIGN IN or CREATE an account
(3) Click on MY ACCOUNT
