Along with the opening of Discovery Magnet School for the 23-24 school year, 27J Child Care will also be opening a state licensed child care program for school-aged children (K-5)!
In this program, we will be offering a safe and engaging environment with fun activities for the children to participate in. Our program will be focused on educational B.O.O.S.T. (Better.Out.Of.School.Time) activities that help students acquire useful skills and knowledge.
We will also be starting a 'teen club' for students 6th-8th grade at Discovery Magnet School. Our goal is to make the club a safe place for older students to engage in after school recreation, whether that be volunteering within the community, pursuing individual projects, or receiving help with homework!
Parents, if you or your middle schooler would be interested in the teen club, please keep an eye out for our survey assessing interest coming mid July!
