Teacher Appreciation Week!
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10, 2024, with National Teacher Day designated for May 9. We are saying 'thank you' this week, and throughout the rest of the year, to the extraordinary educators who have worked tirelessly for our learners and families. We are the luckiest around to have Binkley teachers who are care deeply about the whole child, find the best ways to engage learners, and connect with families and the community.
Congratulations to Jeffrey Magee who won the AAA Patroller of the Year Award. This state wide recognization honors Patrollers who best exemplify leadership qualities and perform their duties effectively and responsibly, without incident. Jeffrey has been steadfast in his duties this year, and is a shining example to his peers. His efforts will be noted at the upcoming RVUSD Board Meeting, and Binkley has been awarded $2000 on his behalf to continue our AAA Safety Patrol Program for years to come.
Continue scrolling for ALL the happening this month! We hope to see you at 5pm on Thursday to share with our superintendent how you would like the facilities bond money spent for Binkley. This will be about soliciting those "smaller" fixes you see to make our school better. Already planned long term is a revamp of our school office, and replacing our portables with a permanent building.
