Lower School Library News
September 2024
Dear Brimmer families,
My name is Alissa Rosellini and I am the new Lower School Librarian. I am excited to get to know you and your children and as well as the rest of the Brimmer community. In library class, we will explore a variety of topics, from author studies to digital citizenship. I will also partner with classroom teachers to leverage the library's resources (online and print) to support student research projects. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions about the library.
Have a great year!
Meet the new librarian!
- I grew up in Indiana, but have also lived in Canada, Germany and Spain.
- I have been a librarian since 2011.
- My favorite part of being a librarian is seeing the joy on a student's face when they find a book that they love.
- Besides reading, I enjoy singing, walking in nature and spending time with my family.
- My favorite genres are historical fiction and fantasy.
