Superintendent's Message
Loveland Tiger Families,
There will be pies flying around Loveland City Schools soon. Our Loveland Elementary PTA (LEPTA) and the Loveland Intermediate and Middle School PTSA (MINT) are both holding their big fundraising drives. As an incentive this year, our principals are volunteering to take a pie in the face to help both organizations reach their fundraising goals.
For students at LECC, LPS, and LES, classrooms that raise $1,000 will earn their teacher an opportunity to smash a pie in the face of Mr. Patterson, Mr. Fancher, or Mrs. Forren. At LIS and LMS, teachers who hit the $1,000 mark will be able to hit their principal or assistant principal with a pie.
Both of these organizations help support our students with awesome things like field trips, parties, and guest speakers throughout the year. The Walkathons at LECC, LPS, and LES over the past two weeks are a great example of the fun things these organizations make happen.
If you can’t donate, consider volunteering and getting involved with one of our support organizations. You can find out about all of them by visiting our website: https://www.lovelandschools.org/about-us/get-involved.
Thank you to the many people who contribute time, effort, and donations to make Loveland such a special place!
If you have questions, you can always reach me at mikebroadwater@lovelandschools.org.
Go Tigers!

Please see the link below to purchase. There are adult and youth sizes. This online store will close on October 17.

LHS Teacher Awarded Fellowship
Loveland High School Spanish Teacher Lisa Brinkman has been selected for the 2025 NEA Foundation Global Learning Fellowship. The Fellowship is a year-long opportunity for her to learn and grow as an educator and bring her learning back for the benefit of our students. Lisa has been teaching Spanish at LHS for 20 years, is the chairperson of the World Language Department, and her two children attend Loveland Schools. Outside of the school day, Lisa will dedicate time to webinars, online coursework, a two-day conference, and an international field study. This is a great example of how we ask our Loveland Tiger students to be community ambassadors who think globally and act locally. She is one of only 48 educators from across the country to be chosen for this prestigious opportunity. Congratulations to Lisa Brinkman!
Celebrating Manufacturing Day at FESTO
Loveland High School students had an opportunity last week to learn about advanced manufacturing and automation. They visited FESTO, a global automation company with facilities just up the road in Mason. During the trip, they learned about the impact of advanced technology on the manufacturing industry and discussed high-tech careers. The visit happened on Manufacturing Day, a nationwide effort to educate students about manufacturing careers, and it’s part of our Loveland Tiger Pathways career exploration program.
