Construction on Westgate is expected to commence mid-August of 2023. We will keep you informed as to the progress of the project.

Celebrate National Bike & Roll to School Day on Wednesday, May 3 by riding or rolling to school! Wear your Westgate spirit wear to celebrate and prepare to get rolling all through the month of May! Can't get to school on wheels? Want to participate from home? No problem! Bike Bingo cards will be distributed to all students who want to keep riding during the entire month of May. Turn your card into your teacher or the front office by May 25th to be entered into a raffle for prizes donated by local bike businesses.

Please remember there are 3 areas of bike racks on school property: 5th grade doors, the south parking lot, and the back circle. We anticipate many students needing to lock their bikes. Please be courteous and lock bikes with the tire facing forward, allowing enough space for others. And last but not least - don't forget safety first! Wear a helmet, ride with an adult, walk your bikes on school property, and lock your bike!

This morning we had our last required fire/evacuation drill of the year. The students and staff did a fantastic job exiting the building quickly and quietly. Way to go Westgate Wolverines!
