Welcome Back!
A back-to-school parent guide
✅ TOP 5 THINGS TO KNOW
#1 Uniforms
- Yay to the first day! School begins on Thursday, so make sure your student is wearing their Thursday uniform. The uniform schedule is available in the office as well as on our website. Being in uniform is also a great way to show pride in our school. Go Falcons!! If you have questions about the uniform policy, please contact Sra. Mason at zoila.mason@4riverscs.org.
#2 Drop-off/pickup time:
- K-8 students should arrive between 7:35-7:45 AM if having breakfast at school. Class begins at 8:00 AM; latecomers need a tardy slip after 8:00 AM. Pickup time is 2:45 PM.
- Sr. Prep (9th-12th) students can arrive between 7:35-7:50 AM with breakfast eaten in class. Class starts at 7:55 AM; latecomers need a slip from the office after 7:55 AM. 🆕 Pickup time has changed to 3:00 PM.
- P.S. Be a part of the adventure! Grab a front-row spot and walk your student(s) to class on the first day of school. 🎉
- Remember to please be patient during drop-off and pickup times, especially the first couple of weeks.
- Get featured on our First-Day-of-School Reel! It’s easy, share your photos with us by using #4rivschool or text them to 541-216-3344. We invite you to take photos of your student(s) in class or at the front entrance where we will have a photo opportunity staged.
- Parents, please note NEW Malheur County's rule on chronic absences - violations might lead to Justice Court citations and fines for absences over 10% (about once a month). Regular attendance is vital, as students are learning two languages. Four Rivers tracks attendance and aids families for better attendance.
#5 Transportation Route
- Parents, be aware we will send out transportation route information early next week.
