State Testing begins on Tuesday, April 9!

This is the time for OHDELA students to show what they have learned this year! Check your email for messages from testing@delak12.com with testing locations and schedules for students who need to take state tests this year.

It's very important that all students who need to test (Grades 3 through 8, and then high school students in Algebra 1, Geometry, English 10, Biology, US History, and US Government) attend the testing session and do their best. Participating in state tests is a requirement for attendance in virtual schools in Ohio.

It is that time of year when we need to collect your input regarding your student’s enrollment plans for the 2024/2025 academic year. This will be a simple 2 step process to indicate your plans.

We will be sending a text message to families the week of March 18 to one guardian. You will receive one text per student, so that in the event plans to return are not the same for all your students, you can accurately indicate intent for each of your kids.

Soon you will receive an automated TEXT message to indicate your plans for re-enrollment for the 2024-25 school year.

Although the Canvas login provides updates to grades and assignments, the PowerSchool Parent Portal is the only place that provides access to your students’ attendance and final grades information. Please leverage the attachment below for assistance and reach out to the AMP Support team if additional help is needed.

The Portal will be accessed through Canvas. Log into your Canvas with the Guardian account credentials that were provided to you and follow these steps. Upon login you will see a Guardian Resources card on your Dashboard.

Please visit The TSD to submit a help ticket, email, call, or chat with a live agent for any help with your device or other technology issues that might come up.

In order to maintain open communications with our parents, it is of vital importance that student contact information be updated routinely throughout the school year. Being an online school means that there will be times when we need to send information to our families through various formats. We are also required by the state of Ohio to maintain accurate contact information for our students in order to provide proof of residency.

If your family has moved or has had any changes to your contact information, please take a moment to let us know of those changes by filling out the OHDELA Contact Change Form at the following link:

This form will allow you to update phone numbers, email addresses, and/or your home address. If you are updating a home address, you will be required to upload a verification document before submitting the form.

Once you have submitted your updated contact information, we will be able to get that updated in our files so that there is no delay in communication with you. Thank you so much for all you do to contribute to your student’s success in keeping our records up to date.
