PMES Fall Fundraiser
This is our BIGGEST fundraising event of the year. We’re on a mission to SHOOT FOR THE STARS! This year we’re launching our annual fundraising campaign to purchase a StarLab portable planetarium for Puckett’s Mill Elementary!
Our students will be very familiar with this type of equipment because for the past few years we have borrowed a StarLab from other schools in Gwinnett County to enhance the learning experience. The StarLab can transport our students to the depths of space, inside the cells of the body, among the clouds of Earth’s atmosphere and more! This portable planetarium provides an immersive educational experience that EVERY STUDENT in our school can enjoy in support of a wide range of AKS objectives.
This is a HUGE goal, but we know that Hawks can rise to the challenge. So plan a bake sale, walk some dogs and let’s get ready to BLAST OFF towards our goal! Check your student's Friday Folder for our fundraising packet to learn more!
Fall Photos are in!
Parent- Teacher Conferences
Please look for sign-up information in grade level newsletters from your child's teacher.

Presale tickets are $16 per child, and available for purchase in MemberHub until 4:00 on Tuesday, October 22. After that, tickets will only be available for purchase at the door (price will increase to $20).
-Children 3 and under are free. Children 4 and over will need a ticket. Adults are free.
-We will send wristbands home with students prior to event to speed up the check-in process.
-A portion of the purchases made at the food trucks will be donated back to the PMES PTA.
While at the Fall Festival, be sure to stop by the Relay for Life Cake Walk. Donate $1 per round for an opportunity to win a sweet treat. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. We are asking for donations of store bought sweet treats (no pies please) for this activity. Treats can be dropped off in the car rider line or in the front office on 10/24 and 10/25.

Transportation Changes
The completed form should be sent to school with your student and turned in to their teacher when they arrive at school. Thank you for your help to ensure the safety of our students.
The Weather is Changing!
With the temperatures being cooler in the mornings and warmer in the afternoons, we are seeing an increase in jackets/sweaters/hoodies in lost and found. To help us return these lost items to their correct owner, please write your student's name in their jackets/sweaters/hoodies.
It is also helpful if your student's name is on their water bottle and lunch box too!
