March 4-15- Entrepreneurship class is selling their products in the hallway from 11:56-12:11 from Monday to Thursday. Everyone is welcome to come and buy their goods.

March 4- Logic and Strategy Exploratory class field trip to Lethbridge to an Escape Room.

March 4- Second year practicum student teachers start at DAF- They will be teaching and learning at DAF for 6 weeks.

March 5- Supersports students go to the Archery range for period 7&8

Our basketball season is now officially over and we have had another great year. A huge shout out to all of our amazing Athletic Directors, coaches, referees, parents and players who helped this season be the best one yet!

Three Lethbridge Hurricanes players came out to D. A. Ferguson to hang out with our students during an assembly. We played three games of floor hockey. Hurricanes vs Grade 6 students, Hurricanes vs Grade 7 students and Hurricanes vs Grade 8 students. Students were picked by entering their name at the office at first break and six names were randomly drawn from each grade level to make our team. To make the games more interesting we offered our students free Taco in a Bag if any of our teams won against the Hurricanes. In the last minute of the last game the Hurricanes players scored against their own goal to give us a win and free Taco in a Bag for all of our student body on Tuesday March 9th. After the assembly many students gathered around the players for autographs.

The Hurricanes players also gave us 30 free youth tickets to any of their games. We have had teachers nominating students who are being extra kind for the tickets. Each nomination gets a free ticket to a Hurricanes game.
