Hello Cougar Cubs Family,

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break! We are excited to celebrate the amazing learning of your students with you next Thursday during our Parent Teacher Conference. If you still need to sign up for an appointment, please view the sign-up here. If you are not able to make it please find a convenient time to meet with your child's teacher.

We also want to celebrate our amazing Canyon Cougar Cubs Choir. Their Christmas Concert was exciting and a night of great entertainment. We have so many talented students. Thank you Miss Hutchings! It was a wonderful evening.

Additionally, we are looking forward to celebrating all of our students positive behavior during Polar Express Day in a few weeks. Thank you for working so hard to help your children have success! It is a pleasure to work along side of you.

Espero que todos hayan tenido un maravilloso descanso de Acción de Gracias. Estamos emocionados de celebrar el increíble aprendizaje de sus estudiantes con ustedes el próximo jueves durante nuestra Conferencia de Padres y Maestros. Si aún necesitan inscribirse para una cita, por favor vean el registro aquí. Si no pueden asistir, por favor encuentren un momento conveniente para reunirse con el maestro de su hijo.

También queremos celebrar a nuestro increíble Coro de Canyon Cougar Cubs. Su Concierto de Navidad fue emocionante y una noche de gran entretenimiento. Tenemos tantos estudiantes talentosos. ¡Gracias, Miss Hutchings! Fue una noche maravillosa.

Our PTA is focused on building a positive school culture. We have monthly meetings held on the first Wednesday of each month @9:30-10:30 in our collaboration room. We will also have an evening meeting at 6:30. Our PTA is dedicated to building and supporting student learning. We are grateful for all they do to make learning fun!

Canyon Elementary PTA is in need of volunteers to help teach Junior Achievement Financial Literacy lessons in your children's classrooms. Please look on the attached google sheet to see if your child's class is in need of volunteers! All materials and lessons are prepared for you and just require a little bit of assembly. Without parent volunteers we will lose this program that is loved by students, teachers, and the PTA! We appreciate your willingness to help our school!

Nuestra PTA está enfocada en construir una cultura escolar positiva. Tenemos reuniones mensuales que se llevan a cabo el primer miércoles de cada mes de 9:30 a 10:30 en nuestra sala de colaboración. También tendremos una reunión por la noche a las 6:30. Nuestra PTA está dedicada a construir y apoyar el aprendizaje estudiantil. ¡Estamos agradecidos por todo lo que hacen para que el aprendizaje sea divertido!

La PTA de Canyon Elementary necesita voluntarios para ayudar a enseñar lecciones de Alfabetización Financiera de Junior Achievement en las aulas de sus hijos. ¡Por favor, revisen la hoja de Google adjunta para ver si la clase de su hijo necesita voluntarios!
