Notes From the Superintendent
Greetings,
As we approach the last few months of another successful school year, I would like to express gratitude for the continued support you provide to your students and the partnerships formed while working with our teachers, staff, and administrators. June is a time of celebration and transition as we prepare for graduations, final exams, progressing to another grade/school building, and look ahead to the next academic year.
We are committed to keeping our community informed and continue to build upon a strong foundation of communication mechanisms to support and highlight each school and department that make up MSAD #60. To that end, here are some important pieces of information:
At the April 11, 2024 School Board Meeting the 2024-2025 District Calendar was approved. It is included in this newsletter for your convenience.
The last student day is June 7, 2024. That is a half day for students.
Noble High School Graduation is scheduled for June 7, 2024. What a joyful event!
The Annual Report will be mailed to all MSAD #60 residents in mid-May. The Annual Report not only highlights the state of the district for the 2023-2024 school year but also presents the proposed Fiscal Year 2025 Budget ahead of the vote in June. With that in mind, here are two important upcoming dates for the School District Budget:
May 23, 2024 is the District Budget Hearing. That meeting is held at Noble High School at 6:30pm.
June 11, 2024 is the District Referendum Vote which occurs at the local designated town locations (Berwick Town Hall, Lebanon Elementary School and North Berwick Elementary School).
The schools, athletic department, and extra curricular clubs have been active and busy hosting career days, a celebration of the arts, district concerts, and school-based performances. This newsletter will showcase some of those amazing events and activities.
Regards,
Audra Beauvais

Monthly Math Moment is back for its second season, and we're excited to explore how families can bring the joy of learning math into their homes through mathematizing! In our season premiere, we investigate why some elementary schools choose not to send home worksheets and discuss the alternative activities you can engage in with your children. We'll focus on how you can mathematize games you may already have around your house, turning playtime into a fun and educational experience that fosters a love for math. Join us as we embark on this journey to make math an enjoyable and integral part of your family's daily life!
