Bobcat Bulletin
10/21/24
Beech Street School believes in the power of a growth mindset. We are committed to our education, and we demonstrate resilience by persevering through our mistakes. With an optimistic outlook and consistent effort, we understand that with practice, we can overcome challenges. We take responsibility for our actions and learning, and treat one another with respect, to foster a caring and safe environment for all. As a community, we take pride in being Bobcat PROUD together!
Celtics Day
We will have a Celtics dress day on Tuesday to support the NBA Champion Celtics as they start the new season and raise banner 18 Tuesday night. Students can wear Celtics gear or dress in green, black, and white.
Popcorn is back!
Safety Drill Practice
On Thursday, each class will review the lockdown procedure in the morning. Teachers will provide detailed instructions to students on what to do if a lockdown is announced. As a school, we will conduct a full drill where the emergency team will check to ensure all classrooms are secure and that students are hidden and silent. We understand this can be scary for some students, so it is helpful for parents to talk to their children about the importance of these drills in protecting everyone's safety during a real emergency. Throughout the school year, we will have regular fire drills, lockdown drills, and other emergency preparedness exercises to ensure everyone is well-prepared and to maintain a safe school environment.
