It's Cold Out!! Winter Clothing---Dress Appropriately

Colder winter temperatures have made a comeback. Please make sure your student is dressed warmly. Students can wear their jackets if they are cold in the classroom. Chamisa does not allow students to have blankets in school.

Just a reminder, Chamisa uses Weatherunderground.com to check the weather daily. If the weather "feels like" below 20 degrees, students will be inside for recess. Otherwise, we will go outside.

Reminder from Coach Black

Dear Parents,

As we head into the winter season, I wanted to bring to your attention an important reminder regarding the footwear requirements for Physical Education class. To ensure the safety and comfort of all students, it is crucial that they come to class with the proper footwear. This not only applies to normal weather conditions but also extends to days when the weather may be inclement. In such cases, it is imperative that students bring snow boots to school and put their regular shoes in their backpacks.

By adhering to these guidelines, we can ensure that our students are adequately prepared for Physical Education class, regardless of the weather conditions. Encouraging them to have the appropriate shoes in their backpacks will help us maintain a smooth and efficient transition during these days.

Chamisa Principal Report and PTO Meeting: Wednesday, the 15th at 7pm

Please come to the the Chamisa PTO meeting at 7pm on Wednesday, January 15th. It will take place in the Chamisa Library, and we will provide a virtual link to the meeting. Mr. Washnok will go over construction, data, and the current happenings at Chamisa. Come out to hear about what's going on at Chamisa, and participate in the PTO meeting.
