Principal Message

Dear Parents,

With the warm weather finally here, we can put our sweaters away and dig out our light clothes.

A reminder to all students to dress in a manner that reflects our school as a place of learning and to dress appropriately, that is, neatly and modestly.

For example: Shirts will cover the torso area completely and tops that cover the shoulder area (no halters or straps please). Refer to the Student Handbook for more details.

Library Books & Textbook Return Information

Dear Parents,

It is that time of year again to start searching for and returning any library books on or before Friday, June 17th. Overdue notices will be sent by email to students and any outstanding books will be marked as lost or missing.

Elementary textbooks are expected to be returned to the library by Friday, June 24th. Replacement Value Fines for non-returned or missing library books and textbooks will be added to your child's PowerSchool account starting Monday, June 27th.

Junior High Textbooks:

Mme Corbin will be at school the mornings of Junior High Exams (June 20-27) to receive textbooks in the library.

All junior high students are expected to drop off their textbooks in the library before the start of each exam. Lists will be posted before the end of the exam of any outstanding library books or textbooks.

Replacement Value Fines for non-returned or missing library books will be added to your child's PowerSchool account starting Monday, June 20th.

All fines will be removed from PowerSchool when the library books and textbooks are returned. (please allow one to two business days for this process to happen).

Transportation Requests

Dear Parents,

Invoices and tentative schedules for 2022-23 school year will be released at the end of June.

Please ensure you have filled out a Transportation Request Form for each child taking the bus through SchoolEngage if you require busing. Thank you for your patience while we finalize routing and schedules.

Last Chance to Order Your Yearbooks!!!

Dear Parents,

Yearbooks for the 2021/2022 school year are now available to order via PowerSchool before June 12, 2022 (11:00 p.m.) (see instructions below).

All purchased 2021/2022 Yearbooks will be available for pick up Fall of 2022. Please ensure a valid phone number is entered so we can contact students.

Upon completion of this form, payment is required via the Parent Portal in order to finalize your purchase.

Click on your child’s name
Click on Forms and Fees
Click on Student Fees
When the new window opens, click on your child’s name
Scroll down to the bottom of the page
Click on the “Yearbook” logo
Complete the requested information
Add to cart
Pay the yearbook immediately in PowerSchool

Bible Stories, Crafts, Games, Songs & Snacks

Come join us for fun and excitement

DATE: July 11-15

TIME: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

WHERE: OLPH Parish Hall (Downstairs)

FOR: Children finished Kindergarten through Grade 5 by June 2022.

COST: $60.00 per child if you register by June 6 (guaranteed a t-shirt)

$70 per child after June 7 (no guarantee to receive a t-shirt)

Registrations will be available May 1 at the Parish Office. Last day to register for camp is June 19. Please note we have limited space in each group so register early to ensure a space .

Save-On Foods Fundraiser!!!

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your ongoing support of our Save On Foods Wye Road fundraiser.

Be sure to send in all of your receipts in an envelope or a Ziploc bag marked "Save On Foods Fundraiser" to Mme Winland in the school office.

École OLPH will receive 5% from all your grocery purchases to go to support our school.

From all the 2020-2021 school year receipts, we were able to raise $5062.01 for École OLPH with this fantastic fundraiser!!!

Let's see if we can raise even more this school year!!!

Volunteer Opportunities at the Church. Please see attached postings with contact people for regular Mass ministries here at OLPH and also for Vacation Bible Camp this summer.
Please mark your calendars for our third and final session of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion Celebrations of this school year. It is our biggest group yet with 84 children registered! Your support and participation from any EICS school staff will be greatly appreciated Contact me for details.
