What a great first week of the school year! Thank you to all for making the week run so well! Check out this week's eNote with reminders that we have block days this week.

Additionally, we have testing on our block days for NWEA-ELA. Please be sure you have headphones this week. These were listed on the supply list this summer. You will need to be sure to have USB-C headphones or bluetooth/airpods that connect with our new iPads. There are also USB-C adapaters that will work to connect 3.5mm headphones.

Here are key points to remember about the middle school schedule:

• Give yourself some extra time in the morning the first week. Consider the later time and potential traffic in your commute.

• Students may arrive and enter the building at 7:35 AM. If they arrive before 7:45 AM, students must report to the cafeteria.

• Buses will be dropping off after the high school in the morning and also arriving at dismissal after picking up high school students. Note that we may need to dismiss by intercom the first week.

As we start this new school year, we also celebrate our success from 2023-24. As Lindbergh Schools continues to shift its focus to standards-based grading and learning, sixth grade teachers at both Sperreng and Truman are leading the change at the middle school level. Hear how the shift is benefitting both teachers and students!

The first day of school will be on Tuesday, Aug. 20, and the last day of school will be on Friday, May 23. (Last day for high school seniors is Friday, May 9.)
