Hi Wildcats!
We had a great week back after February break and ended the week with our Read Across America event. On Friday, we promoted literacy and a love of reading with some special activities for our Wildcats. Each class visited the library to participate in a Book Exchange, and every student was able to choose and take home a book to keep. Our K-5th grade Wildcats also participated in a school-wide read aloud in the afternoon, where they got to visit with a favorite teacher or staff member to hear a fun story. If you have not done so already, be sure to ask your student about Read Across America Day - we hope they had lots to share with you!
We want to recognize Mrs. Comstock for all of her hard work to organize this meaningful event for our school. Thank you, Mrs. Comstock!

2025-2026 Online Continuing Student Registration
Online Continuing Student Registration will be open from February 28 - March 31, 2025. We must receive a completed digital packet for all returning students. This will allow for proper placement of your student(s) for the 2025-2026 school year. This annual digital process allows a family to complete one single βfamilyβ packet instead of completing one packet per student. Packets can be completed using any computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection.
Continuing Registration Steps:
Login and complete the digital registration packet via the online registration portal found here.
Review and complete any required forms located at the conclusion of the process. A packet is not considered finalized until this step is completed.
Please note: THERE WILL BE AN ENROLLMENT CONFIRMATION PROCESS IN AUGUST AND YOUR PARTICIPATION WILL BE ESSENTIAL TO ENSURE A SMOOTH START TO THE SCHOOL YEAR.
Please note: MEDICATION FORMS and ADDITIONAL SIGNED SITE SPECIFIC FORMS WILL NOT BE COLLECTED UNTIL SCHOOL BEGINS IN AUGUST FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR.

TK is a Full Day Program for 2025-26
Full Day TK in Poway Unified!
We have some exciting news regarding our districtβs TK program! Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, PUSD Transitional Kindergarten will be a full-day program.
The range of age-eligibility will also expand - children who turn four-years-old on or before September 1, 2025, will be age-eligible for TK. (Students who turn five-years-old on or before September 1, 2025 will be age-eligible for Kindergarten). Enrollment for TK for 2025-26 school year opens on April 1, 2025. Please feel free to share this news with your friends and neighbors who have children in this age range.
Other Enrollment Information
Here are some important information that may pertain to your family:
Transfer window for 2025-26 school year will close on March 31, 2025 at 5 p.m.
If you live within the Poway Unified boundaries and want your child to attend a school different than your assigned school, submit your request online through the Transfers page on the PUSD website. (This includes siblings of current students.) Please make sure to still enroll your child at their assigned school of residence when new student enrollment opens on April 1, 2025. Transfer requests can only be processed once your child is enrolled in their school of residence.
New Student Enrollment - beginning on April 1st at 8:00 am, new student enrollment opens on the Poway Unified website. We are excited to welcome our new students!
