The HOB Buccaneers stand united in grief as we remember and honor the life of our beloved teacher and coach, Mr. Dexter Butler. His unwavering dedication to education and coaching left an indelible mark on the hearts of countless students and colleagues.

As a devoted history teacher and basketball coach at Horace O’Bryant Middle School, Mr. Butler’s impact extended far beyond the classroom walls. His legacy resonates with the staff, students, and the wider Key West community. We cherish the memories of a man who selflessly devoted his life to shaping young minds and nurturing the youth of our island.

Let us carry forward Coach Butler’s spirit, commitment, and passion. His influence will continue to inspire generations to come. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family during this difficult time.

May Coach Dexter Butler’s memory forever illuminate our halls and inspire us to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
