Dear Tuffree community,

Quarter one is in the books! What better way to start off the final day of the quarter than with our annual "Breakfast with the Band" before school yesterday. This event shows off how ready our marching band and colorguard is for the Heritage Day Parade tomorrow!

The Falcon pride was alive and well this quarter. Our admin team, which is composed of me, Ms. Chapman and Mrs. Eastman, love to show off the Tuffree black and yellow whenever we can. Please encourage your students to join us and show off their spirit by wearing their Tuffree gear every Friday! If your student still needs a "Level Up" shirt, or has misplaced theirs, please reach out to me directly and I will get them hooked up. Have a wonderful weekend.

Our Boo Bash Halloween Dance is on 10/24, 3:30-5:15. We are still looking for some parent volunteers to help with concessions and tickets. Please email Jenna Lind at jlind@pylusd.org if you can help out!

• Tickets will also be on sale at lunch in room 401 Tuesday-Thursday.
  
• Students are expected to stay for the duration of the event; they may dress up in costume per these guidelines.

Tuffree instrumental music had a fantastic turnout at Breakfast with the Band. We can't wait to see them marching at the Heritage Day Parade! Go Falcons!!!

Spirit wear is in! If you purchased Tuffree spirit wear, and asked for it to be delivered to Tuffree, you can pick it up in the office this week.

• Daily Attendance: Every day counts when it comes to student attendance. Students must maintain good attendance to achieve academic success. When a student is absent, please contact the attendance office. The attendance office can be reached by text at (714)202-6891 or by contacting our front office by phone at (714)986-7480. Please include your student’s name, your name, and the reason for the absence. Note that you must report absences every day your student is out, and you have 48 hours to clear an absence.
