Dear Parents/Carers,
I had the real pleasure of teaching in Year 2 this week. The pupils have been working very hard in the absence of Miss Sharp and I was very impressed by their Mathematical skills and their understanding about animals which live in Antarctica!
This week is the start of the Lunar New Year. Every year is marked by a different animal and 2025 is the Year of the Snake.
On Wednesday, pupils were offered chicken or vegetable curry (Chinese style) with rice for their dinner and this went down a treat. The kitchen staff also got into the spirit and created a fruit snake to celebrate the occasion!

Here are some photos of various class activities and displays.
Martial Arts Workshops
On Tuesday, all pupils accessed a Martial Arts Workshop run by Phoenix Martial Arts. The workshop was fantastic and all pupils thoroughly enjoyed learning a new skill.
