Message from Dr. Rivera

We have lots going on at Smith Elementary. First, congratulations to our staff of the year:

Shanea Smith - Teacher of the Year

Jackie George - Paraprofessional of the Year

Natalie Acosta - Rookie of the Year

These ladies are incredible educators, they have growth mindsets, and they tackle everything with a postive attitude. They will now go on to represent Smith Elementary at the district level.

I hope you see you at the PTO Color Run as we raise funds to purchase new playground equipment. In addition, we really need more volunteers for Career Day. We hope to have at least one volunteer per class, and they will stay in one room and present for about 20 minutes while the classes move. The volunteer's day should last about two hours with us. PTO News

The PTO Color Run is just around the corner! The registration forms are below and can also be accessed by clicking here. School Identifier: 64f866c77a487

Kids can earn fun prizes and experiences by raising funds. Click here for the schedule. Visitors can attend and participate with a $10 entry fee. Funds raised will go toward playground improvements.

ALL VISITORS MUST RSVP HERE BY APRIL 16TH AT NOON.

Teacher of the Month

Kindergarten teacher Jazmin Rancharan is an example of what we value at Smith - she works hard, she has a great attitude, and she is an incredibly kind person. Way to go, Mrs. Rancharan!

Para of the Month

Maria Guzman has been a part of Smith for over a decade. She supports our ABLE students, and she is dedicated to making sure all kids feel loved and successful!
