V. 14: November 11-November 15
Toros Triumph as Scholars, Leaders and Champions!
Dear Toro Families,
First, please note that there will be No School on Monday, November 11, in observance of Veteran’s Day. This is a time to reflect on and honor the service of our veterans. We encourage everyone to take a moment to acknowledge their sacrifices and, if possible, participate in local events or community activities that pay tribute to our military service members.
On Friday, November 15, we will be wrapping up Trimester 1, which means it’s the end of the first grading period. Since this is a Minimum Day, students will be dismissed at 12:30pm. Please remind your student to check that all assignments are submitted and to address any outstanding work before the trimester ends.
With the end of Trimester 1, it’s a great time for students to reflect on their achievements and set new goals for the upcoming term. Encourage your student to think about what went well during the first trimester, what challenges they faced, and what strategies they can implement to improve in the second trimester.
The LCAP survey is open and we'd love your feedback. This annual survey is how we continue to be the best school for your students. If you'd like help or support completing this survey, please stop by one of our offices and we can do it together! Please see the link below.
With Toro Tenacity,
Dr. Mónica Luther
Principal
Yorba Middle School
