Coolidge Drop off and Pick up Procedures
The Loop (Highly Recommended) – The loop can be used for drop off or pick up. Students should remain in their cars until the car has come to a complete stop in the painted half circle area. Please do not let your child out of the car, or wave your child to your car, while you are in any other part of the loop area or driveway. Do not leave the loop area until the vehicle in front of you has left. Please remain alert and ready to move forward with traffic.
The Parking lot - The parking lot can be used for drop off or pick up. Your car should be parked in a parking spot and you will need to walk your child to and from the school doors. Your child should NEVER be in the parking lot without you at their side. The ONLY place that parking or sitting is permitted, is in a designated parking space. Parking anywhere else could prevent our buses from coming or going. (Using the loop is easier.)
PTA NEWS AND INFORMATION
If you are interested in volunteering with our upcoming Fall Festival, spirit store sale during recess, YMAD Comfort for A Cause projects and/or Holiday Shop please click the above link. All volunteer sign ups can be found under the volunteer opportunities tab.
Spiritwear
This is the last weekend to order your Coolidge spiritwear. ALL orders are due by Sunday 11/17/24. These items could also make a great holiday gift! Make note of it on your order and we will arrange for alternate pick up options so that it is not sent home with your child. Please click the link below to place your order.
Spirit Stick Sale
We will be hosting our 2nd spirit stick sale during recess on Wednesday 11/20/24. Similar to the first sale, we will open our spirit store during recess to allow students to add to their spirit stick collection. We ask that if participating, you send your child to school with no more than $5 in a labeled envelope/bag for them to bring down to the store. We placed a restock for some designs that sold out as well as added a few new ones for the upcoming holiday season.
Holiday Shop Gift Preview
We will be setting up our holiday shop on Monday 11/25/24. Flyers with information about the event & wishlist envelopes will go home on Monday 11/18/24. Below is a link to the website that lists the available gifts and their prices. You will find gifts for mom/grandma/aunt/sister, dad/grandpa/uncle/brother, pets, teachers and friends! Most gifts are $5 or less and range from .50 to $12. Feel free to go through the website with your child and make any notes on the envelope before sending it back to school. If you do not want to send cash/check, you may purchase a voucher that can be redeemed at the shop. If sending a check, please make sure it is made payable to Coolidge Elementary PTA.
Help Wanted
We are in need of volunteers to help the event run smoothly. Please click the link below to see when your child's classroom shops and sign up for a slot if you are able to help. To reduce the frequency of volunteer turn over we have set up AM and PM shifts. Please reach out to Jenna Kuhn at treasurer@coolidgecougarspta.org if you have any questions
