UPDATES!!!! Please Read!
TEACHERS & STAFF,
- Please keep in mind that cost for Breakfast is $2 and Lunch is $3.50. Do not send a student in to get a free one for you. While our amazing ladies would love to feed us all, they too have state guidelines to follow. When numbers are reported that could very easily come back on them and we won't put them in that position. Thank you for your help with this matter.
- Below are the only District PDs and Trainings I see for now. I will email you personally if I receive information between now and Friday!
District PD and Training

Elementary Math Bowl Coaches 2:00 pm-3:00 pm (3-Halliday, 4-Miller, 5-Hurst)

Action Items and Reminders
- Let parents know that we will not be delivering on the half day for valentines flowers, etc. We do not have the time or way to do this so our Vday grams will be accepted through Weds- NONE AFTER and deliveries on Thursday.
- Students, Staff and Parents may purchase school Valentines we will be selling for Thursday, the 13th! (Flyer to come)
- Please encourage students to read for AR. Reading is a great homework task to boost reading skills. Set high expectations. Their average should be 85% or higher and they should not have a problem making their goal. If you would like to take students on an incentive DQ trip for reaching 9 week AR goals this nine weeks I will approve it. Let's get our kids reading! Lead by example and let them see you reading too.
- Continue the work you are doing in PLC and we will review this soon.
- PLCs last week were Data focused on our standards and domains. Where can we get the most bang for our buck in remediation right now? We will plan out a strategy and plan of attack and then reassess to see if we are impacting the scores.
Please sign in daily.
If you have a time sheet it is very important to come up and sign in each day.
Don't forget to upload your plans in our shared drive. Outstanding job to everyone on getting your plans submitted and on time!
- Thank you for signing in and greeting your students at the door!
- Attendance notes must be checked daily and turned in daily. Attendance must be completed by 9 AM sharp.
- Wear your I.D. Badges at all times! Please send anyone who doesn't have a badge or sticker to the office and notify the office.

APPRECIATIONS
Our Commitment and Pledge to Central Instruction
Together we commit to working hard to make sure instruction and assignments are both rigorous and engaging. We will continue setting the bar (grade-level standards) high and placing that intellectual lift on our students. This is the key to mastering complex material.
Time and time again, research has shown that when students are given access to four critical classroom level resources, they can and will make BIG academic gains.
- Grade-appropriate assignments (Rigor of the Standards)
- Strong instruction that lets students do most of the thinking in the lesson (facilitate with probing questions- most of the talking should be the students)
- A sense of deep engagement in what they're learning
- Teachers who hold high expectations for ALL students and truly believe they can meet grade-level standards (Set the bar high)
Every student will receive daily access to challenging, engaging, and grade-appropriate work. With each day that passes we will refine our skills to the best of the best in our profession! We will focus daily on what our students are learning and doing, we will strengthen our belief about what students can accomplish.
Together we are committed. Together we are Central. We are #ONECENTRAL
