We would like to inform you that our i-Ready assessment window is scheduled for December 9–December 13. During this period, 3rd and 4th-grade students will participate in i-Ready assessments in both reading and mathematics. These assessments are essential in helping us better understand your child's current academic levels and enabling us to tailor instruction to their individual needs.

Key Information:

• Dates: December 9–December 13
• Subjects: Reading and Mathematics

• Purpose: To assess your child’s academic progress and provide targeted support.

• Ensure your child gets a good night’s sleep before each assessment day.
• Ensure your child arrives at school on time.
• Encourage your child to do their best and remind them that these assessments are an opportunity to show what they know.

Way to SOAR!

Old Bonhomme Elementary has started a Best Buddies chapter! Best Buddies International is an organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendship and leadership development. All second through fourth-grade students are invited to participate.

This year, we will have four FREE Best Buddies events - one each quarter. Our second quarter event will be on Thursday, December 19, from 2 to 2:30 p.m. during the school day. Students will be dismissed from class to attend the event, where we will do a winter activity. You must register for the Best Buddies program if you want your child to attend. You don't need to sign up again if you have already registered. Click here to register your student. Please register by Wednesday, December 11.
