A note from Ms. Abby
Dear Bridport Families,
It's getting to be the end of the year at Bridport Central School Library! Bridport kids borrowed 2910 books this year! That's a lot of reading.
On Friday kids got to pick 5 books to bring home to start them off for summer reading. These books were from Bonnie's Books, Reading Is Fundamental sponsored by Sylvamo, and other donations. In addition, students also got a calendar and reading tracking sheet from the Platt Memorial Library in Shoreham's Summer Reading Program. We hope all Bridport students will come by the library this summer to check out the fun programs and earn prizes by reading. All Bridport residents are entitled to a library card from the Platt Library in Shoreham; you do not need to have a library card to participate with the Summer Reading Program.
Notices with any books that need to be returned will come home next week; please check your car, bookshelf, and house for any books that might belong to Bridport Central School Library. Thanks for your help in tracking down and returning books all year long.
Read Well,
Ms. Abby, Librarian
