MSSADA SPRING CONFERENCE - HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS - 3/24/2025 - 3/28/2025
NIAAA / MSSADA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE ESSAY AWARD
We are excited to announce that Olivia Fong from Millis High School and Wyllys Ames from Scituate High School have been selected to represent Massachusetts in the Section 1 selection process for the NIAAA Scholar/Athlete of the Year Award!
Both Olivia and Wyllys have demonstrated exceptional achievements in academics and athletics, and this recognition is well-deserved. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Scoreboard Enterprises and The Championship Award Guys, whose generous support allows us to award each winner a $500 scholarship in acknowledgment of their outstanding accomplishments.
We also express our deep gratitude to all the athletic administrators who contributed to this process, from encouraging candidates to writing thoughtful recommendations. The sheer number of applications and the talent displayed by student-athletes across our state is truly inspiring.
We look forward to following Olivia and Wyllys in the next phase of the selection process and wish them the best of luck in representing Massachusetts!
