Announcements
Subaru Loves Learning
The staff at TEWMS would like to thank Subaru of Wesley Chapel for their generous donation. Today the Subaru Loves Learning team came to our campus and presented the school with a donation of $15,000, 26 classroom kits, and lunch from Outback. These funds will go directly to our teachers to purchase classrooms supplies and materials. We are so appreciative for this generous donation from Subaru of Wesley Chapel.
Thank you Subaru of Wesley Chapel for a great start to the 24-25 school year!
Student Drop Off/Pick Up
A note about car line timing: In order for your child to arrive at school on time, and prior to the tardy bell at 8:20am, you must enter the car line prior to 8:10am. If you enter the car line, after 8:15am, your child will be late for their first class.
Additionally, if all of the expectations below are followed, you can get in and out of the car loop in the morning in about 3-5 minutes depending on your arrival time. The afternoon car line moves very quickly and we consistently get through the entire car line in about 12 minutes. The first week of school may take a little bit longer as students and parents become familiar with the car line.
Expectations for Parents/Guardians:
Parents, as a reminder, please use caution when driving in our traffic loop. The drop-off and pick-up area for students is in front of the front office. Please pull all the way forward as close as you can to the bumper of the car in front of you. Once you are pulled all the way forward, your child can then enter/exit the vehicle. Electronic devices used by drivers in the drop-off lane is not permitted for student safety. To maintain safety and traffic flow, only right turns are allowed when entering and exiting the car line. Your child should only be dropped off and picked up in the car line, not on Wells Road, this is a serious safety concern. We thank you in advance for your cooperation. Due to supervision students should be picked up no later 3:15pm.
Expectations for Students:
Students are not permitted to enter the TEWMS campus until 7:50am each morning. At the end of the day, students are only permitted to enter the car loop via the side gates on each side of the front office. Students are not permitted to enter or exit a vehicle until you have pulled all the way forward as close to the bumper of the car in front of you as possible.

Schedule Change Requests
As we get ready for the new school year and with daily enrollment of students, we are continuing to work on student schedules for the 2024-2025 school year. On a daily basis, we are updating, revising, and balancing schedules and classes. Please note that schedule changes will be very limited due to our increased enrollment and class size requirements. In order to have a schedule change considered for approval, one of the following criteria must be met:
- The student has a course on their schedule for which they have already taken and earned a grade for.
- The student has a “hole” in their schedule (i.e. there is no class for certain period).
- The student would like a placeholder for an online class that is in an Active or CA status with percentage complete and was started on or after July 1st.

School Policies
Outlined below are our policies for Wireless Communication Devices (cell phones, ear buds, headphones, smartwatches, etc.), Dress Code, and Class Attendance. Please make sure you/your child have read our policies and procedures as these are our expectations and consequences that will be enforced.
Class Attendance- Students are expected to arrive on time and stay through dismissal so that they will receive important directions and classroom instruction, avoid disrupting other students, and to maintain a safe environment. It is the parents' responsibility to check myStudent to view their student's tardies and discuss with their student the reason for the tardy. Absences can be reported thru a link on our school’s website.
Dress Code - The Pasco County Schools Dress Code has had some updates since last school year. Please read both attached dress code so you are fully aware of all of the changes and consequences for students who do not follow the expectations. We do not allow any head coverings (ie. hats/caps/hoodies) to cover a student’s head as we need to have a visual of all of our students on campus to ensure safety. We ask that parents speak with their students regarding this expectation. Note that if a student violates dress code, they will be expected to change into appropriate clothes before returning to class. Consecutive dress code infractions will result in a referral with consequence.
Wireless Communication Device- Pasco County Schools has updated the Wireless Communication Device policy for the 24-25 school year. Students may use their device after the dismissal bell at the end of the school day or as expressly authorized by the classroom teacher for a specific instructional activity. Cell phones must remain on silent and completely out of view the entire school day from the moment students walk on to campus. Students who violate the Wireless Communication Device policy will turn their device into the back office until the end of the day. After the 1st offense, a referral will start receiving consequences for all violations herein after. Please see the attached TEWMS Wireless Communication Device Policy for more specific information to include consequences.
