PGRAD Survey
Thank you to our amazing Project GRAD team of Jane, Natali, Rylee, Hayley and Brandy for putting together a great fanily night of creative bots and more! It was awesome to see everyone building, designing, and having a stellar time. Way to get our STEAM on! We look forward to our next night of fun and learning!
Rotton weather prevented us from venturing to our Noctural Field Trip to the Seward SeaLife Center, but know we have rescheduled for Monday April 29, so please look to more details coming out soon for planning and preparations for the trip!
Please be mindful to continue to support their success by having them in school on time, and ready to go! We're open at 8:20 am with breakfast, and kickstart our day with an all school morning meeting from 8:50 am- 9:00 am, then our classes begin promptly at 9am. Let's continue to work together to give them a great start to their school day:-)
In our ongoing commitment to prioritize the health and well-being of our students and staff, we want to inform you about our KPBSD Symptom-Free Protocol. This protocol is designed to create a safer environment for everyone by minimizing the risk of the spread of illnesses. We kindly request that you ensure your child is symptom-free before sending them to school each day. This includes checking for common symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, and difficulty breathing. If your child exhibits any of these symptoms or has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for an infectious illness, we strongly encourage you to keep them at home, and consult with the clinic. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter, as the collective efforts of our school community are crucial in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all.
The Safe School Helpline is provided to allow students, parents and community members the ability to confidentially submit report threats of violence, suicide, bullying or illegal activity that impact KPBSD schools, students, or staff. This service provides users the opportunity to leave a message or speak with a live crisis counselor for immediate needs. The helpline is administered by an independent, outside company. All communications remain private, confidential, and anonymous.
Four Ways to Report to the Safe School Helpline:
Call: 1-800-418-6423 or 1-800-4-1-VOICE (Ext. 359)
