WE LOVE OUR STUDENTS!
At Pepin Elementary, we want you to know that YOU MATTER to us! Each student is unique, and February is the perfect time to celebrate our connections and accomplishments.
The month ahead is packed with exciting events and opportunities to come together as a school community:
Battle of the Books
Students in grades 4-6 will dive into this year’s Battle of the Books! Teams will compete in friendly challenges centered on reading, sharpening their comprehension and teamwork skills.
Field trip to Sheldon Theatre
On February 10, students in grades K-6 will travel to Red Wing to enjoy The Magic School Bus: In the Solar System. This performance promises to be educational and entertaining as we journey through the stars with Ms. Frizzle. Please watch for a permission slip from your child’s teacher.
Valentine’s Craft Night
Bring the family to our Valentine’s Craft Night in the cafeteria on February 3 from 6-7 p.m. Hosted by the Family Resource Council, this event offers creative crafting time and light snacks. It's the perfect way to bond as a family while making heartfelt creations.
School wide Theme – Honesty
Our character focus for February is Honesty: “Being truthful in what you say and do.” Teachers will incorporate activities and discussions into lessons to help students practice honesty and reflect on its importance.
Birth to Five Playgroup
Families with young children are invited to join the Birth to Five Playgroup on February 20 from 6-7:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided, and registration is available at pepin.k12.wi.us/community.
Save the Date: Parent-Teacher Conferences
Mark your calendars for March6-7. Conferences are an excellent time to celebrate your child’s progress and discuss goals for the rest of the school year. Angie will schedule the conferences and send a confirmation letter. If the scheduled time does not work for you, please contact Angie to reschedule.

Lost & Found Reminder: Please encourage your children to check the lost and found for any missing items before February 28.
