Hello Bulldog Families.
Today, we wrapped up our first full week at BHS! Your students seem to be navigating the building quite well and learning all of their schedules. More importantly, they seem to be happy to be back and very proud of their new building! Check out some of the photos in this edition to see how students are using some of our new spaces!
A few of our students are struggling with the early start as we settle into our new routines. We continue to remind them that school starts at 7:25 a.m., which means they are in their first period class ready to begin! Ohio’s attendance laws require schools to calculate the number of “minutes” students are absent, so these tardies do add up!
Students who attend school regularly perform better in school. In fact, there is a link to regular school attendance and a young person’s ability to navigate social situations more easily. When students miss, they fall behind which causes more frustrations and anxiety. Please help them make it to school on time! Here is an article that contains some important information about the importance of school attendance, including 10 tips for helping your student get to school on time:

We hope that you and your family enjoy the beautiful weekend, and thank you for allowing us to spend time with them every day.
In service to our Bulldogs.
