Below are this week's stats from Class Dojo.

I wanted to point out a few main things...

1. 766 messages sent to families in total and 258 messages sent last week - this is TRULEY amazing communication by our staff and families. This is the #1 reason we use this common platform to communicate and efficiently reach one another.

2. 0% positive feedback - this will continue to stay at 0 this year. Class Dojo has a "point system" that we have used in the past to give students positive points or negative points in order to compliment or correct student behavior's. This year we have decided to NOT use the point system. We will focus on clear, consistent expectations, and honest communication between staff, student and families in order to focus on growth in our kiddos day in and day out!

As a mom, I use Class Dojo on the parent side for my two boys....so I am familiar with the parent view and options. I wanted to warn some parents that Class Dojo DOES HAVE A PAID version to have extra features and a home point systems.... we DO NOT expect or need you to use that version. Everything you need to use in Class Dojo for Truman is FREE. The other things that pop up or are offered or emailed are promotional and your choice.

I just wanted to warn you of that. Sorry if there was any confusion if it was offering you a paid version.

Your student should have brought home TWO kid account cards. Your cards from last year still work and now you have two additional or if you are new you have two to start this year.

We use these cards to SCAN IN THE CAR RIDER LINE ONLY. The purpose of these cards will ONLY BE USED IN THE CAR RIDER LINE. You can hand them out to anyone you have as an emergency contact or approved pick up for your student.
