We are hosting our 3rd Trimester Awards Ceremony on Friday May 30th in the gym. PK-2nd grade start at 8:45am, 3rd-5th grade start at 10:10am, and 6th-8th grade start at 2:30pm. We hope to see you there :-)

The Helena Flats PTO would like to thank everyone who came to support the school and events this school year.

Parents and Guardians, if you would like to provide input for placement considerations for the 25-26 school year for your child, please speak with their current classroom teacher. Your feedback is valued. Classroom teachers and administration are determining class lists for next school year. The school district reserves the right to determine final decisions for class placement. Please remember enrollment continues throughout the summer. Parents/Guardians will be notified of final class list in August 2025 prior to the start of the 25-26 school year.

The school district will send out additional communication on dates, times, locations, and details for these events. For some of the events that are for certain classes our teachers will send out communication to the parents/students the event applies to.

-8th Promotion Practice (Tuesday 6/3, Wednesday 6/4), Ceremony (Wednesday 6/4 evening)

-Early Kindergarten Promotion (Thursday 6/5 morning)

-Kindergarten Promotion (Thursday 6/5 evening)

-Field Day (Friday 6/6 last day of school)

We are looking to complete this school year with a bang using our ABC Countdown to Summer. We want to ensure our students have some fun at school while also completing our requirements such as end of the year testing. Participation is teacher/class dependent, and it might look a bit different depending on grade level.

We are approaching our final testing of the school year to include the MAST (Montana Aligned to Standards Through Year), MSA (Montana Science Assessment), and Aimsweb (School Benchmark/Universal Screener). You will receive additional information for access to the MAST parent portal to view test performance along with score reports for Aimsweb that will be placed with end of the year report cards. We will not receive scores for the Montana Science Assessment till Fall 2025.
