Congrats to our November 2024 Students of the Month Caleb Osborne 7th grade and Mrs. Goldberg's 2nd grade class.

We have award assemblies Friday 11/22/2024. Please reach out to classroom teachers for times. The award assemblies are occurring by grade bands this school year.

Helena Flats is having our Holiday Concert December 10, 2024 starting at 5:00pm. We look forward to seeing you there.

Helena Flats and Deer Part are collaborating to host the 5th/6th Boys Basketball Tournament for the Rural School League on the evenings of Thursday, December 12th and Friday, December 13th with a single elimination bracket for all teams on Saturday, December 14th. Please reach out to a PTO representative if you are interested in volunteering. The proceeds are used to cover the cost of the tournament as well as fundraising for our Helena Flats PTO and the many projects they do for our school.

Girls Basketball Interest Meeting is December 16, 2024 in the Helena Flats School Library starting at 5:00pm. Please start completing the necessary athletic forms for students to participate. You can print the athletic forms from the Helena Flats School website by clicking the path menu-school programs-athletics-athletic forms or asking for a copy at our main office.

We are beginning to use this visual along with dialogue in our classrooms. This is a way for our students to self-identify their feelings as well as restorative practices and techniques to be a Victor who is Above the Line moving forward to accomplish great things as opposed to a Victim. We have visuals for this in every classroom and throughout our building. This helps teachers and students to develop effective strategies and dialogue together in building a positive culture. We want to communicate this with Parent/Guardians and please feel free to reinforce this type of dialogue at home as well if you choose.

As we approach winter weather or wet weather please ensure to send students to school with appropriate weather dependent clothing. Thank You for assisting us.
