A Message From Mrs. MacAllaster:
Notes from PTSO:
Hi parents- want to learn more about how PBIS rewards work? And see how excited the students get about the rewards they have earned? Come help distribute awards NEXT FRIDAY, 11/1. If you have helped out with PBIS rewards in the past, the format for distribution has been updated and now consists of a one hour shift, instead of multiple lunch hours. In addition, you can sign to help a specific grade so you can attend (or avoid…. we’ve been there) your student’s specific session. Please visit the signup genius for more details or contact riverwatchmsptso@gmail.com with any questions. Click here for the PBIS Rewards Sign Up.
We also need parents to help support Feast Days for our wonderful teachers and staff. Volunteers would be responsible for covering lunch room duty so that teachers could enjoy a quick break. There are three days, please see the sign up genius for details at Feast Days Sign Up.
A Note from Nurse Brenda:
Scoliosis screenings will take place on November 4th for 6th and 8th Grade students. Students will be shown an informational presentation about scoliosis and the screening process which can be viewed below. If you would like to opt your child out of the screening, please see the Parent Letter and Refusal Form below!
A Request from Teachers:
We need your help with water bottles! Please make sure your student has a spill-proof water bottle and understands the importance of reporting spills to an adult quickly!
If a student spills water in class, it could cause damage to teacher resources/student resources/technology equipment and causes disruptions to class and learning of other students
When students spill water in the hallway and don't report it, it creates a dangerous situation for all school attendees!
We thank you for your understanding and assistance with this issue!
