Come Join Us for an Author Reading & Signing Event! Mace Thornton, a native Kansan, is the author of Jawbone Holler. Coming to grips with a tumultuous upbringing during the Civil War era, Perry Adams embarks on a dramatic and spiritual journey in Jawbone Holler. In this folkloric saga set in Missouri and Kansas, Perry is drawn in by tensions along the bloody border. Perry’s growth to survive and establish a farm matches his conviction to win the heart of an enigmatic young woman who tickles the ivories at a local saloon as he navigates personal and social turmoil. Will he be drawn into the action of the war? If so, will he survive in order to overcome the ghosts of his troubled past? Saturday, November 16 10:00 am @ Louisburg Library Special Book Deal:
$20/book & for each book sold during the event $2 will be donated to the Friends of the Library
