Grant Gators
Principals Corner
Good afternoon, Grant Gator Families,
Thank you everyone who came out to our first PTA meeting this past Tuesday. It was great seeing new and existing faces. We welcome everyone during these monthly meetings. Many of you already know this but we have a strong PTA who truly looks out for our students and community. We have many fun events already planned out for the year that our PTA puts on so thank you PTA and all parent volunteers who help support our students too.
Thank you everyone who came out to Curriculum Night and Open House last night. We had a an awesome turnout and it was great to see everyone!! We look forward to another amazing school year at Grant Elementary.
Finally, please reach out to me if you have any specific questions. Thank you for sharing your child(ren) with us!

Grant Character Element for SEPTEMBER is Growth Mindset!
A growth mindset is a theory or an idea that our brains are not fixed at a certain intelligence level. We can continue to expand our minds and intelligence by pushing ourselves to do new things, trying hard things, and redoing something until it’s successful. A fixed mindset is that either you can do it or you can’t. For example, either you can paint well or you can’t. There is no in-between.
