January 27 - January 31
Principal's Note
Dear Colonial Park Families -
Thank you so much for supporting our efforts to make Morning Arrival a safe experience for our students. Just a reminder, please pull all the way up before allowing your child or children to get out of the car. We recognize that sometimes the weather is unpleasant, or a vehicle in front might be stopped, but it truly helps keep traffic flowing smoothly and safely. Your patience and cooperation is appreciated!
I'd like to extend a huge thank-you to our Colonial Park kitchen staff and Food Services Director Lisa Toumayan for inviting Chef Lisa from Aramark foods to our school last week. On Thursday, our students were treated to a variety of fresh, delicious lunches and sides, including a turkey sub, yogurt parfait, fresh fruit cup and garden salad with dressing. Our students loved all the options, and we are looking forward to seeing some of them on our February lunch menu!
We are kicking it back to the 80s!!! Monday, February 10, is our 100th Day of School, which means we will have 80 more days to go. Colonial Park will be celebrating with an 80s Spirit Day on Monday, February 10. Break out those neon colors, side ponytails, and denim...think bold and bright!!
Attached please find our February Lunch Menu. There will be an updated one provided with some of our new options, and when we receive another one, we will share it right away! Also, Wednesday, February 12 is an early release day for all SPS students, and this is not noted on this lunch menu, but will be on the updated one. I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Best,
Rosa Flynn
